In Oʻahu, Hawaii, entomologists uncovered a rare caterpillar (Hyposmocoma genus) nicknamed the "bone collector." It builds a case from dead insect exoskeletons, living amid spiders without being preyed upon. With only ~62 specimens recorded, its survival is threatened by habitat loss and invasive species.
